About The Chef

Born in Pretoria, trained at Prue Leith’s Academy of Food and Wine and with 12 Years’ experience in the industry, with extensive time spent at world renowned luxurious game lodges, Singita, Sabi Sabi, Thornybush Collection in combination with experience in Fine Dining at Roots Restaurant and Boutique Hotel and working in Private Residences for Sol Kerzner and Richard Branson’s private Island, this passionate chef can give you almost any dining experience that you might desire. Be it a Fine dining experience with family and Friends, impress some Business Partners with a gourmet Braai designed to your needs or a casual Family style dinner.

Choose one of his menu’s designed to give you that feel of eating at home, but still feel that you are in a world class establishment. Classically French trained Coenie describes his style as Modern African French Fusion.
