About The Chef

I am Chef Kwanele Ncipa born and bred in Port Elizabeth. I obtained my Professional Cookery Certificate in 2010, that’s when the culinary journey began, and I have been a chef since then. I worked in well-established restaurants around Port Elizabeth, my breakthrough and exposure to French, Asian, and Italian Cuisines occurred in Fancourt Hotel in George. Driven with passion and determination I worked my way up the culinary ranks in Fancourt to Junior Sous Chef level, before I could explore this role, I received an opportunity to go abroad and moved to the United States of America (USA). I worked in different States in America for 3years.

With my local and international experience, I gained extensive knowledge of different cultures and food in different regions of the world.

It is my pleasure to bring and share with my guests an experience that binds families and friends together in the comfort of their homes right at their dining table. Families & friends are guaranteed food that will burst in their palate with exotic flavours.

GARLIC BUTTER SCALLOPS
with ginger lemon grass carrot puree and bacon sweet corn Succotash.

SORBET
lemon and mint.

BEEF FILLET
with pome anna, Prosciutto asparagus and rosemary jus.

DESSERT
Classic creme brulée with mix berries.

BEEF TARTAR
with dehydrated egg yolk and crispy brioche crouton.

SORBET
mix berries sorbet.

SESAME SEED SALMON
creamy truffle mash potato and broccolini with beur blanc sauce

DESSERT
chardonnay/sherry and strawberry sabayon

PLEASE NOTE:

The Menu price includes: - All the ingredients
- Your chef traveling fee (If the venue falls within the chef working areas)
- The cooking of all the dishes
- The entire service
- The cleaning

20% surcharge fee
To guarantee the best service and experience, bookings should be made at least 48h before the desired date to enable your chef to plan everything accordingly. There will be a 20% surcharge fee for bookings made in less than 48 hours.

30% surcharge fee
A 30% surcharge will be added for bookings on public holidays (1 Jan, 2 Jan, 21 Mar, 7 Apr, 10 Apr, 27 Apr, 1 May, 16 Jun, 9 Aug, 24 Sep, 25 Sep, 25 Dec, & 26 Dec).

Minimum number of people required
The minimum number of people required under each menu is based on adult guests and excludes children. Children under 12 will be charged half of the adult menu price. Main course & dessert.

Please note. For booking of 8 guests and more, your chef will need an assistant to help prepare, serve and make the whole experience go smoothly. The assistant will come at an additional fee which will be added to the invoice.
