Service Description

The chef brings all ingredients, prepares the meal in your kitchen, serves each dish, and cleans your kitchen before leaving. All you have to do is to relax and enjoy a culinary experience.

About The Chef

I am a chef, born and raised in Kenya in a multi-ethnic family. My love for food culture stemmed from my multi diverse family and the way food brought everyone together. My half-sisters from my father, who is part Japanese, part Indian had a huge influence on the diversification of my palette. On my mothers’ side, who is partly Ethiopian, Goan, Portuguese and Tanzanian also embraced the culture of togetherness through food. My main goal as a chef, is to tantalize my clients five senses through a culinary experience. Throughout my industrial experience, I have worked in kitchens that range from Italian cuisine, Mediterranean – Asian fusion, steak houses pastry kitchens to working in homes for people with specific dietary requirements.

MENU 1: R720 pp

STARTER
Avocado mousse served with lime infused rockets, halloumi cheese, pomegranate and a beetroot rice puff

MAIN
Thyme infused mushroom wellington served with a smoked sweet potato mash and charred exotic fioretto tender stems

DESSERT
Cinnamon churros served with a coconut infused white chocolate ganache

STARTER
Teriyaki, sesame seed, seared tuna / salmon served with beetroot slices, heirloom tomatoes, rocket and watercress base and a basil-mozzarella mousse

MAIN
Orange, honey glazed pork belly, served with confit onions, ratatouille and a parmesan mash potato

DESSERT
Deconstructed grapefruit meringue, served with candied lime, edible flowers and seasonal summer fruits

(this is a different take on the standard lemon meringue tart, changing the mainstream idea whilst bringing diversity to your palette.)

STARTER
Salmon and prawn mousse ravioli, served in a lemon consommé topped off with a squid ink coral

MAIN
Salsa Verde infused spiraled beef, wrapped in pancetta served with a crispy pomme anne, sautéed rainbow carrots and a black garlic jus

DESSERT
Blondie brownie served with a vegan coconut raspberry ice cream, mint pearls and a mint dust

STARTER
Thyme infused roast tomato and peppers soup, served with salami, balsamic reduction and Parmesan shavings

FIRST COURSE
Pickled Courgette Carpaccio topped with a rocket, mint and barlotti bean salad

MAIN
Homemade Salmon and Prawn Ravioli pillows served in a dill brunette

DESSERT
Traditional tiramisu served with fresh berries. Paired with a shot of coffee liquor

Bloody Mary Gazpacho / option to have with prawns

FIRST COURSE
Tequila, Orange and Lime Ceviche salad served with rockets, heirloom tomatoes and avocado

MAIN
Slow roasted, Chipotle pork tacos, served with mango, coriander and avocado salsa and lime infused sour cream

DESSERT
Homemade Churros served with Cinnamon sugar, whiskey infused ganache and a berry mousse
