1. What is Chef & Guests?

Chef & Guests is a private chef, fine dining experience designed to bring people together over the love of fine food.

This is a unique culinary experience bringing you restaurant quality food and services directly into the comfort of your own home or at an exclusive venue (Rentals accommodations, wilderness locations, etc.).

2. Who are your Chefs

Our services are provided by professional chefs. Each one of them is selected based on their skills and passion for fine food and people.

3. What happens after I have made my booking?

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and an invoice. Once the invoice has been paid, you will receive a call from the chef. The chef will introduce himself/herself and ask you some questions about your dinner and your kitchen equipment. Then all you have to do is sit back, relax, and wait eagerly for the day of your event!

4. Who supply the plates, glasses and cutlery?

You supply the plates, glasses, and cutlery. If you don’t have enough plates, glasses, and cutlery, your chef can supply them at an additional cost. Feel free to contact us if you need extra plates, glasses, and cutlery.

5. Who supply the pots and pans

You supply the pots and pans.

6. is there a maximum number of people per booking?

Your chef will be able to serve up to 12 guests alone. For booking of more than 12 guests, your chef will need an assistant to help prepare and serve each course. The assistant will come at an additional fee which will be added to the invoice.

7. Does the chef cater for special dietary requirements?

Yes, your chef will be able to adjust a menu to suit any dietary requirements. If you need a custom menu, please click here.

8. What time will the chef arrive at my home or venue?

Your chef will contact you and arrange the time he/she needs to be at your home or venue. On average 2 hours before the actual mealtime.

9. Are the drinks included in the price?

The drinks or wines are not included in the menu price. We have partnered with GETWINE.CO.ZA to bring you a large selection of South African wines to match with our chefs' gourmet menus.  Order the wines suggested by your chef at www.getwine.co.za and get them delivered to your door.

10. Does the chef clean up?

Yes, your chef will clean your kitchen and the dishes used before leaving.

11. What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel your booking one week before the scheduled date, you will be fully refunded. If you cancel your booking between 48 hours and one week before the scheduled date, we will refund you 50% of the amount paid. There will be no refund if you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the scheduled date.

12. My kitchen is small; can I still book your services?

Our chefs will contact you before the date of the booking to confirm what they need and will adjust their work to the size and equipment of your kitchen.

13. What payment methods are accepted?

We currently only accept EFT payment. We will be adding more payment methods soon.
